1. Market Research and Analysis:
– Conduct thorough market research to identify potential export markets and trading partners.
– Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to develop informed strategies.
2. Business Strategy Development:
– Develop and implement business development strategies and plans to expand car export and trading activities.
– Set clear sales and revenue targets and work towards achieving them.
3. Client Relationship Management:
– Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and partners.
– Identify and engage with new clients, negotiating contracts and agreements as necessary.
4. Product Knowledge:
– Stay updated on the latest developments in the automotive industry, including car models, specifications, and market demand.
– Provide product knowledge and information to clients.
5. Sales and Marketing:
– Create and execute marketing campaigns and sales initiatives to promote car exports and trading services.
– Collaborate with marketing teams to develop effective promotional materials.
6. Financial Management:
– Prepare and manage budgets for business development activities.
– Monitor financial performance and report on sales and revenue metrics.
7. Compliance and Documentation:
– Ensure compliance with all relevant export and trade regulations.
– Maintain accurate records and documentation for all transactions.
– Provide regular reports on business development progress, market analysis, and sales performance
– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (with a minimum 2 years of experience)
– Fluent in written & spoken English (spoken Mandarin is a plus)
– Proven experience in business development, particularly in the automotive export and trading industry.
– Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures.
– Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
– Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for market analysis and sales tracking.
– Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
– Self-motivated and results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
